Olivia Lovell has joined the UIC women’s soccer coaching staff as of January 2026. Prior to coming to UIC, Lovell was a senior midfielder on the Concordia University Saint Paul women’s soccer team.
A student-athlete, Lovell competed in her final collegiate season for the NCAA Division II Golden Bears. Prior to her year with the Golden Bears, Lovell was a four-year member of the Indiana State Sycamores (2021-24), a fellow MVC school, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in coaching and a certificate in gerontology. During her time with the Sycamores, Lovell appeared in 24 matches, starting in one, and totaled 483 minutes played. She finished her career with Indiana State recording two assists and placed three of her five shots on goal.
In coaching roles, Lovell has coached club at Terre Haute Premier for a year. Additionally, she has provided three years of private training with Tekkers FC in Waukee, Iowa.
Lovell currently holds a United States Soccer Federation Grassroots licenses and will be continuing her education for the “B” license.
A native of Waukee, Iowa, Lovell is working towards her masters in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University Saint Paul.
