Hannah Yeh joined UIC Athletics in October 2021 to serve as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Flames. Yeh works directly with the women's basketball and women's tennis programs.
Prior to returning to Illinois, Yeh served for two years as the athletic trainer for the women's basketball and track and field programs at the University of Maine. She coordinated medical services as host for basketball games and regular communicated with team physicians, dietitians, psychologists and physical therapists in support of the student-athletes in order to maintain or improve physical and mental health. Yeh also served as a mentor and educator for Maine's student assistant athletic trainers.
Before arriving in Bangor, Yeh worked as the athletic trainer for the cross country and track and field teams at Ohio University. She also assisted the Bobcats on the football field during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, including the 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl. Yeh also served as leas athletic training support for the campus during its Gatorade sports camps in 2018.
Yeh received additional experience as an Athletic Trainer and Rehabilitation Technician with Illinois Bone and Joint. Through that opportunity she provided training room coverage at Lake Forest College, an NCAA Division III institution.
Yeh completed her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training at Ohio University in May 2019. She previously graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Northern Illinois University in 2016.
