Nicolas Rousset serves as an assistant coach for UIC's men's and women's tennis programs. From August through October 2023, Rousset served as the Interim Head Coach of the UIC women's tennis program. He joined the Flames staff in the fall of 2022. Rousset has been an integral to both tennis programs since joining Chicago's College Team and has helped the men's program transition to both the Southland Conference and Mid-American Conference and the women's team transition to the Missouri Valley Conference.
Rousset was reunited with Jovan Parlic, who was an assistant at Arkansas during Rousset's junior and senior seasons. Rousset played three years at Arkansas, racking up 32 singles wins and 35 doubles wins. He was a key contributor to the 2021 Razorback team that earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. He had four singles wins over ranked opponents.
Prior to Arkansas, Rousset played two years at Seward County (Kansas). He was the ITA JUCO singles national champion in 2018-19, as well as the Region IV singles and doubles champ. He was also a double Region IV champion as a freshman in 2017-18, and was third at the ITA JUCO nationals championships in both singles and doubles. Rousset was an ITA All-American in both singles and doubles.
Rousset graduated from Arkansas in the spring of 2022.
