After completing her collegiate career as a two-time All-Horizon League First Team honoree, Lubica Nadasska will be serving as a graduate assistant for the Flames for the 2008-09 season.
2007-08: Earned All-Horizon League First Team honors for the second-straight season after compiling an 18-10 singles record and a 19-7 doubles slate...went 10-0 in league singles play at the second position and 10-0 at No. 1 doubles, with Kristen McPhillips...defeated league foes Emily Thayer of Youngstown State and Butler[apos]s Molly Casperson at the ITA regional before falling to Toledo[apos]s Ashley Frey...picked up win against former teammate from Missouri...clinched the league championship match for the Flames for the second season in a row after defeating Butler[apos]s Natali Jaimes 6-2, 6-3...defeated all conference opponents in straight sets, never giving up more than three games a set...closed out the season on ten-match winning streaks in both singles and doubles competition.
2006-2007: Posted a 12-9 singles record from the No. 2 position... earned Athlete of the Week honors after a solid victory against North Texas the week of March 20... went on a nine game win streak in the thick of Horizon League play...only conference loss (6-1) was a 6-1, 3-6, 10-6 nail biter in the No. 1 singles position against Milwaukee[apos]s Kelly Drvaric...went 15-11 in doubles play for the whole year...spent the spring playing in the No. 2 position with Ulrikke Von Ubisch...duo had a five game winning streak with wins over league rivals Green Bay, Youngstown State and Wright State.
Prior to UIC: Played two seasons for the University of Missouri (2004-05, 2005-06)...as a freshman, turned in the third-most wins on the team with 20 singles victories...helped the Tigers upset Oklahoma State in the opening round of the Big 12 Championships as a rookie...earned a doubles title in the Mizzou Three Way Tournament as a sophomore.
Prep/Personal: A perennial Top 10 player in Slovakia in her age group category as a singles and doubles competitor from 1997-2001...won the Slovak Team Championship with the Slavia STU Bratislava club...ranked as high as 60th in the European Tennis Association (ETA) U-16 rankings...finished 70th in the ETA U-14 rankings...born July 17, 1985...daughter of Lubomir Nadassky and Alena Nadasska.
