DeKalb, Ill. -The UIC men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Northern Illinois Wednesday afternoon. The Flames have now dropped 12 consecutive matches.
Karl Morgan and Jason Kerr teamed to win the No. 1 doubles match 8-3, but the Flames dropped the No. 2 and 3 matches to lose the doubles point to the Huskies.
In singles play, Nick Bodmer and Morgan both lost hard fought three-set matches at the first two singles positions. Bodmer fell 1-6, 6-3, 4-6, while Morgan suffered a similar fate, 1-6, 6-3, 2-6.
Chuck Cunningham's crew is back in action on Friday, April 14, at Youngstown State. The match is slated for a 3:00 p.m. EDT start.
