Midwestern Collegiate Conference Announces 2000 Fall Academic All-Conference Team

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Midwestern Collegiate Conference announced its fall Academic All-Conference teams today as three University of Illinois at Chicago athletes have been feted.

The MCC bestowed the honor upon Greg Chrisman (soccer) and Erica Anderson (volleyball) and Lee Foss (men's cross country).

Chrisman, making his second straight appearance on the MCC Academic All-Conference team, helped the Flames advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA National Soccer Tournament. The senior midfielder was third on the team in scoring with 21 points with five goals and 11 assists. Chrisman was selected to the CoSIDA/GTE Academic All-District V Team last season.

Anderson, who helped lead UIC to the MCC Semifinals in 2000, finished her career for UIC as the school's all-time leading passer with 4,178 assists. The senior setter's .265 career attack percentage is second-highest in Flames' history

Foss appeared in five meets for the Flames in 2000 with his top time coming at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational (28:37).
