Chicago, Ill. - On a night when gusts reached 45 mph and the temperature hovered in the 30's, the University of Illinois at Chicago men's tennis team battled Wright State hard, but fell short of the Raiders, 5-2 on Friday night at UIC.

Wright State picked up the doubles point after taking each match.

In singles, the Flames came back a bit, as Nick Bodmer and Omar Husain were each winners.

Bodmer won the No.1 singles match, 6-3, 6-3 over Chad Camper of WSU, while Husain battled Scott Hayden to the brink, winning, 7-6, (7-5), 6-4 in the No.5 hole.
