Milwaukee, Wis. - Although the Flames battled hard, Marquette had no mercy, defeating the UIC men's tennis team, 7-0, in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
"We played hard and battled, but we need to learn how to win some matches," said head coach Hans Neufeld.
Nick Bodmer played the best match of the day, playing Eigintas Vendrickas of Marquette.
Bodmer had his chances at No.1 singles, but couldn't pull it off, losing 7-6, 6-2.
The Flames are now off until Saturday, February 8, when they play Chicago State on the South Side starting at 8:00 a.m.
