Bradley Sweeps Volleyball, 30-19, 30-25, 30-26

Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago volleyball team continues to struggle as in-state rival, Bradley, earned the 30-19, 30-25, 30-26, non-conference sweep, handing the Flames its sixth straight loss and ninth in its last 10 matches at the Flames Athletic Center on Monday evening.

Bradley middle hitter Lindsay Stalzer led the charge for the visiting Braves with a match-high, 17 kills. As a team, Bradley finished the match with a hitting percentage of .253 (38 kills, 16 errors, 87 attacks).

Conversely, the Flames were not as successful, finishing with a hitting percentage of .010 (32 kills, 31 errors, 98 attacks).

With the victory, Bradley improves to 6-12 on the season, while the Flames drop to 5-15 on the campaign.

UIC freshman Katarina Nedeljkovic and senior Jordan Studzinski led UIC with seven kills, while teammate Ambria Springer chipped in six kills and seven block assists.

UIC will be back in action on Thursday night, as they will host Wright State in a Horizon League contest at 7:00 p.m. in the Flames Athletic Center.
