Carbondale, Ill.- The University of Illinois at Chicago men's tennis team had their three-match winning streak snapped on Sunday, falling to Southern Illinois in Carbondale in an abbreviated contest by a 4-1 count.
The Flames (4-9) managed to get a singles win from Paul Glendenning, who won his fourth match in a row by defeating Bojan Illievski, 6-3, 7-6.
SIU took the other four matches before inclement weather caused the rest of the match to get called off.
UIC returns to action on April 5th, hosting Chicago State in the first home outdoor match of the season at the UIC Outdoor Courts beginning at 3 p.m.
