Raleigh, NC - University of Illinois at Chicago junior throwing specialist Nick Gazis placed 12th overall with a toss of 158' 5 ?" in the discus to lead the Flames track and field team at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State, on Saturday afternoon.

Junior sprinter Gabe Rivera competed in the 100-meter dash and finished with a time of 11.17.

UIC will travel to Charleston, Ill., on Saturday afternoon, as they will participate in Eastern Illinois' Big Blue Meet.
