Wilmington, N.C.- A driving rainstorm washed out tonight's matchup between the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of North Carolina-Wilmington soccer teams at the Adidas-Homestay Inn Seahawk Soccer Classic.

After Jacksonville University defeated Sacred Heart in the opener by a 4-1 tally, the storm quickly engulfed the field and forced tournament officials to postpone the second game featuring the Flames and the host Seahawks.

Officials will decide Saturday morning if the game will be played tomorrow, along with the start time, once the field is inspected.
