Omaha, Neb.- The UIC soccer team faces a stiff road test this Wednesday, as the Flames face off with 25th-ranked Creighton at Morrison Stadium beginning at 7:00 p.m. Central.
UIC (4-3-1) heads into the Creighton match following an 8-1 rout of Centenary this past Sunday. The Flames' eight goals is tied for the second-most goals in a single game this season.
Sophomore midfielder Pavle Dundjer turned in three goals and two assists for a single-game career-best eight points against the Gents.
Dundjer now leads the Flames in all scoring categories with four goals, six assists and 14 points.
Sophomore Cesar Zambrano and junior Tonci Skroce are also near the top in scoring, as Zambrano is second on the team with three goals and two assists for eight points, while Skroce has two goals, three assists and seven points.
The Jays (4-1-3) enter Wednesday's game after playing UMKC to a scoreless tie this past Saturday in Omaha.
Creighton is ranked No. 25 in the latest NSCAA/adidas National Rankings and holds the No. 17 spot in the College Soccer News national poll.
This will be the first meeting between the two teams.
