Chicago, Ill. - The 13th Annual UIC Athletics Scholarship Classic was held recently at Bolingbrook Golf Club and the event was as successful as ever in helping raise monies for UIC's greatest asset, its student-athletes.

This year's event was the largest in the history of the Scholarship Classic with 46 foursomes participating in a double-shotgun format. Later in the evening, everyone enjoyed an exquisite dinner in the clubhouse ballroom while over $8,000 was raised in silent and live auctions.

During the 13 years of this special event over $1.6 million has been raised for the UIC Athletics Scholarship Fund.

The Athletic Department would like to thank all of this year's participants for their generosity and support and we are already looking forward to next year's event.
