Chicago, Ill.- The UIC soccer program is proud to unveil a new program this spring geared toward helping young soccer players reach their potential better than ever before, as the John Trask Total Soccer Center of Excellence begins this April.

The Center of Excellence, based on a brand of training developed in Europe and utilized all over the globe, focuses on providing young players top level training using advanced methods that help develop skills in areas that normal team training does not allow.

Under the guidance of UIC Head Coach John Trask and his staff of top level collegiate coaches and players, players training at the Center of Excellence will engage in activities geared toward developing good skill rather than just good technique and helping them become a "Total Soccer" player.

The Center of Excellence runs for seven weeks from April to June and is open to boys and girls ages 7-18. Players have the option of signing up for Tuesday or Wednesday evening sessions, or they can sign up for both.
