Chicago, Ill.- The UIC women's tennis team remained unbeaten in Horizon League play with a 6-1 win over UW-Green Bay at Evergreen Racquet and Fitness on Sunday.
The Flames (6-6, 3-0 Horizon League) swept the three doubles matches and won five of six singles contests to earn the dual match win.
Callan Smith rebounded from a first set loss in her No. 1 singles match against Heather Harding to win the next two frames.
Lubica Nadasska, Grace Gill-Morlis, Christina Oum and Jenna Reisch won their singles battles in straight sets.
The Flames nearly completed the sweep, but Ulrikke von Ubisch fell just short in her comeback attempt from a first-set loss to fall in the tiebreaker.
UIC heads to Ohio for two league matches next weekend, facing Cleveland State on April 6th and Youngstown State on April 7th.
