Cleveland, Ohio- The UIC women's tennis team braved the elements as they traveled to cold and snowy Ohio and opened their two-match Horizon League swing through the state with a 5-2 victory over Cleveland State at the River Oaks Racquet Club on Friday.
UIC (7-6, 4-0 Horizon League) swept the doubles matches and won four of the six singles contests en route to the win.
Rookie Jenna Reisch made quick work of Kristin Chamberlain at the sixth spot, 6-0, 6-1, to clinch the dual match win.
UIC will face Youngstown State on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Central.
