Chicago, Ill.- At halftime of the UIC men's soccer team's match against Green Bay on Saturday, Oct. 18, UIC Athletics honored one of its historic squads as the 1968 men's soccer team was recognized for its splendid campaign.

The 1968 team went 10-3 and advanced to the NCAA College Division Mideast Regional before falling to the College of Wooster on Nov. 22, 1968 in Wooster, Ohio.

Representing the team on Oct. 18 were George Domino, Michael Witter, Nick Iwanik, Tom Southgate, Phillip Naylor and Luciano Kiszynski.
