Des Moines, Iowa - The UIC men's tennis team lost on the road Friday night, falling to No. 51 Drake 6-1.

Adriano Liccardo, playing at the third position, defeated Ricardo Lau in two sets, taking the set 6-4, 7-5.

Eric Fey battled at the fifth position for the Flames, losing a close first set that went 11-9 in a tiebreaker, eventually falling 7-6, 6-2.

The squad remains in Iowa on Saturday, taking on Graceland College at 2 p.m. in Des Moines.
