BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The UIC men's tennis team kept their Saturday afternoon match at Illinois State as close as possible, but fell to the Redbirds, 4-3.

After failing to capture the doubles point, the Flames picked up a trio of singles victories against their Missouri Valley competition. Sebastian Lystad took his second win of the season at the first singles slot over Filip Mijevic, winning 6-4, 7-6.
