CHICAGO- The UIC men's soccer team takes a five-match unbeaten streak into a Friday night Horizon League showdown against Wright State at Flames Field.
Kick-off between the Flames (2-2-4, 0-0-1 Horizon League) and the Raiders (1-5-1, 0-1-1 Horizon League) is set for 7 p.m.
Fresh off a 3-0 win over Wisconsin on Wednesday, the Flames are starting to get the offense running on all cylinders. After scoring just three goals in the first five matches of 2009, UIC has scored a total of seven goals during the last three games and three goals in a contest on two occasions during that span.
Wednesday's win over Wisconsin marked the 50th victory for head coach John Trask at the helm of the Flames. He is the fastest to reach 50 victories in school history by accomplishing the feat in just over four seasons.
