TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -For the second consecutive weekend, the UIC men's tennis team soundly defeated a Missouri Valley opponent, taking a 5-2 victory over Indiana State on Saturday evening.
UIC (4-4, 1-0 Horizon) swept doubles action, with senior Danny Wilson and freshman Nate Kirk pairing up to defeat Michael Wenham and Chris Finney, 8-2.
Bastian Harbo continues to excel at No. 2 singles, as he defeated Joshua Smith, 6-3, 6-3.
Adriano Liccardo, George Hudson and Dave Robare picked up the remaining singles wins for UIC to clinch the match in the Flames favor.
The Flames return to action against Wayne State at home on Feb. 28 at 6 p.m.
