CHICAGO - UIC men's tennis standout George Hudson earned a national ranking in singles from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, as the most recent polls were released earlier this week.
Hudson's ranking comes on the heels of defeating St. Louis' Sean McManus in a three-set, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 victory, followed by a 6-2, 6-4 win over Southern Illinois' Hugo Vidal last weekend, accruing a 10-1 singles record thus far in the season.
The West Midland, U.K. native's 123rd ranking is the first national ranking in the Flames 27 seasons in Division I.
The entire singles rankings can be seen here.
Hudson and the Flames head to Indianapolis to take on league foe Butler tomorrow at noon.
