CHICAGO- UIC junior back Robert Younger (Hull, England/The Read School) was selected to the United Soccer Leagues Premier Developmental League (PDL) Team of the Week that was announced on Wednesday, June 3.

Younger earned the honor for his play with the Chicago Fire PDL, helping the Fire hold the Toronto Lynx to just three total shots in a 2-0 shutout decision for the PDL in Red.

Younger has guided a Fire PDL defense that has allowed only four goals in six matches and produced four clean sheets, allowing the Chicago side to come out of the gates with a 4-1-1 record.
