LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The 19th-ranked UIC men's soccer team is in Louisville for a two-game stay at the Cardinal Classic to face Bluegrass State foes Kentucky and Louisville this weekend.
The Flames (0-1-1) meet the Wildcats (2-0-0) on Friday at 4 p.m. Central before taking on the Cardinals (2-0-0) on Sunday at 4 p.m. Central in a match televised live in front of a national audience on Fox Soccer Channel.
Sunday's match is the first live nationally-televised match for the Flames, who will face a Louisville side that is ranked 17th in the latest NSCAA/adidas national poll.
Facing ranked teams on the road is nothing new for UIC, which has lost just once in 10 road matches against national Top 25 teams since 2005.
