VALPARAISO, Ind. - The UIC volleyball team concluded a four-match road trip on Saturday evening by falling to the Valparaiso Crusaders at the Athletics-Recreation Center, 3-0 (25-19, 25-10, 25-22).
The Flames (11-13, 6-6 Horizon League) were outplayed from the start, falling behind in each of the three sets in the match.

Valparaiso (19-5, 7-4 Horizon League) spread the wealth in the win with six players accumulating at least seven kills. Sarah Dooms led the Crusaders with nine.
"We have a ton of work to do," said Schumacher-Cawley. "We have to regain our focus and have a good week of practice because we have two really important matches at home next weekend."
