CHICAGO - In the first installment of the RCN Cable "Howard Moore Podcast," Adam Levinson and the first-year head coach preview Wednesday's game against Pitt, the Flames defensive philosophy, and the importance of the fan base in the process of rebuilding the program.
Fans will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the podcast, which will be posted in its entirety on UICFlames.com no later than Wednesday morning during the 2010-11 campaign. One segment during the 30-minute interview will be reserved for fan questions - those interested in having their questions answered by Moore should send them to UICHoops@gmail.com no later than Tuesday at 9 a.m. each week.
The podcast is the latest multi-media addition to UICFlames.com, the official athletics website. Additionally, "Flame Throwers," the official blog of UIC Basketball, was launched last month on the men's basketball page. Each of Moore's weekly podcasts will be archived in their own section of the blog throughout the season.
Fans can listen to podcasts featuring exclusive interviews with UIC head coaches, staff and student-athletes for free on iTunes by searching "UIC Flames."
