WICHITA, Kan. - The UIC men's tennis team fell to Wichita State 6-1 on Saturday, as Sebastian Lystad moves closer to the all-time singles wins record.
Lystad gave the Flames their lone point of the day, defeating Sven Kasper in comeback fashion. Lystad dropped the first set 3-6, but stormed back taking set two 6-2 and finishing set three 10-7.
The win gives Lystad 65 career wins and sits just four wins behind Nick Bodmer for the top spot.
UIC will remain in Wichita Kan. to take on Washburn on Sunday March 7 at 1 p.m.
