CHICAGO - The UIC men's soccer team will play in its second event of the spring Saturday, when the Flames travel west to DeKalb to take on non-conference foes Bradley and Northern Illinois at the NIU Soccer & Track and Field Complex.
The Flames battled Marquette to a 1-1 draw in their spring opener on March 6. Eric Frazier scored UIC's goal on an assist from Moriba Diallo.
Kick-off against the Braves is set for noon, followed by a 1:30 p.m. start between the Flames and Huskies. Bradley is coming off an 11-9-3 (3-3-1 MVC) campaign last season, while Northern Illinois posted a 9-6-2 record, including a 2-4-0 record in Mid-American Conference play.
The Flames will play six spring games in the next 20 days, and after this weekend, will play all of those contests in Chicago, including next Sunday's (April 10) contest against Wisconsin at Flames Field.
