EVANSTON - The UIC men's tennis team (1-4) took on the No. 30 Northwestern Wildcats (3-4) Sunday afternoon, falling 4-0 to the Wildcats.
In the No. 1 singles spot, Isaac Lloveras fell to Northwestern's Sam Shropshire 6-2, 6-1. Christopher Cole competed against Logan Staggs in the No. 2 spot, 6-0, 5-2, before leaving the match unfinished.
Lloveras and Louis Theodor teamed up in the No. 1 doubles spot and fell to the Wildcats' Fedor Baev and Strong Kirchheimer, 6-0. The Flames' Mitch Granger and Eric Pontow matched-up against Mihir Kumar and Alp Horoz, falling 6-1.
The Flames return to action Friday when they take on Elmhurst.
