CHICAGO - The UIC men's tennis team (3-8) will hit the road for a pair of matches this weekend. The Flames travel to Indianapolis Friday to take on IUPUI (6-11). UIC will then travel to Dayton on Sunday for its first Horizon League matchup against Wright State (7-11).

Friday's match with the Jaguars is set to start at 7 p.m. CT inside the West Indy Racquet Club. Sunday competition against the Raiders is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. CT at the Dayton Center Courts.

The last time UIC and Wright State competed was on March 30, 2014 at the Flames Outdoor Tennis Courts as the Flames fell by a 6-1 score. Maurizio Feoli collected the Flames' lone singles win in straight sets at No. 5 against Marc Sodini.

Last time out (March 6), the Flames defeated Oral Roberts, 4-3, at the Hinsdale Racquet Club. In the No. 1 singles spot, Isaac Lloveras defeated Amar Saletovic while Feoli collected his third singles win of dual play at the No. 6 position.

Carl Hedstrom and Louis Theodor defeated their opponents in the No. 3 and No. 4 positions, respectively. Theodor leads the squad with six singles wins in dual play and Hedstrom owns five victories.

Lloveras and Hedstrom picked up the Flames' lone doubles win against Oral Roberts. The duo has gone undefeated (3-0) when paired together at No. 1.
