CHICAGO – The UIC women's soccer team (3-6-2, 1-1-0 HL) will look to end its three-game homestand on a high note as it hosts Green Bay (0-8-1, 0-2-0 HL) in a primetime matchup Wednesday at Flames Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

The Flames are riding a two-game winning streak, the first ever for the program, as they most recently defeated Youngstown State (Sept. 24) in a 2-0 final.
Rebeca Pallo and
Emily Wauer scored, with Pallo adding an assist on Wauer's goal. UIC put up its second-highest shot total of the season with 22 and held the Penguins to a mere six attempts, with a season opponent-low two on goal.
Kelly Fritz collected her first win and shutout in goal this season as she made two saves.

In the Horizon League statistical standings, the Flames rank second in goals (14), assists (14) and shots (146), as they have outshot their last two opponents by a 61-10 margin. Pallo (4) and Wauer (3) lead the team of offense as they make up seven of the team's goals, while
Olivia Everin owns four of the assists. Six players have reached double digits in their shot attempts, with Wauer (27) and Pallo (24) at the top.

UIC has started a different goalkeeper in each of the last three games with Fritz (1.17 GAA),
Annie DiCanio (2.37 GAA) and
Tara Khayam (0.59 GAA) on the rotation. The trio has combined for 51 saves, led by DiCanio with 27, and own three shutouts on the year.
