Flames End Busy Weekend With Dominating Swims

Joy, Sivak Win Three Events Each

UIC turned in a dominating performance in their second meet in as many days.  Both the men and the women defeated host Olivet Nazarene.  The women also competed against Butler, whom they defeated 160-101.  UIC posted wins in half of the 14 women's events, and in 11 of 14 men's swims.

"Overall, the team bounced back after a long night of racing" in a challenging quad meet Friday evening, head coach Tim Loeffler said.  "Today gave us the opportunity to swim some races that our swimmers don't get a chance to do during conference competition.  We are excited to get back to work and prepare for some Horizon League racing."
