CHICAGO – The UIC women's tennis team (10-6, 4-1 HL) put a wrap on its homestand with a 7-0 sweep of IUPUI (4-14, 0-5 HL) on Saturday afternoon at XS Tennis. The Flames won all six singles matches, five by straight sets, to go along with the doubles point.

DOUBLES HIGHLIGHTS
Viktoria Seifert and Miranda Rodriguez Diaz de Leon teamed up for the first time this dual season, taking a 6-1 victory at No. 3 against Molly Nguyen and Marina Schneiger. Melika LeBlanc and Rachel Le Comber were up 5-2 versus Krystal Grubb and Mariella Pessina before winning by retirement at No. 2, and the No. 1 match between Lejla Colic/ Georgie Sanders and Valeriia Laverenchuk/ Samantha Mayer went unfinished.

SINGLES HIGHLIGHTS
Bianca Zuzu won her third-straight match at No. 6, shutting out Schneiger 6-0, 6-0. Le Comber also swept her opponent, Pessina, at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0, for her sixth-straight win. Seifert made it eight straight with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Nguyen, to remain undefeated at the No. 5 spot. With the win already on UIC's side, LeBlanc kept the victories coming with a straight-set win over Grubb, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2, and Sanders defeated Laverenchuk 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1. Amelia Guevremont took down Mayer at No. 3, 6-2, 3-6, 10-3 to end the afternoon for the Flames.
