EAST LANSING, Mich. -
Izzy Marshall and
Lucie Prochazkova finished out competition at the USTA/ITA Regionals on Friday. Both players were best by their opponents in the qualifying round after previously taking two wins in the opening rounds.
Marshall fell to host Michigan State's Jennifer Timotin, 6-3, 6-2, while Prochazkova was defeated by the Spartan's Mary Lewis, 6-3, 6-3.
The pair combined for doubles competition, outlasting Chicago State's Katarina Drazic and Diana Borodina, 8-6, before falling to Illinois's Sasha Belaya and Emily Casati, 8-3.
Marshall, Prochazkova and the rest of the Flames look ahead to the start of the dual season, which is set to get underway in January.
