Match Highlights

  • Early IUPUI aces and UIC miscues gave the Jags a 6-0 lead, but the Flames were able to catch up, tying the match at 14.
  • An IUPUI attack error and a Marija Borcic service ace gave UIC its first lead, 16-14.
  • Tied at 20, a bad set by the Flames and a kill for the Jags put them up by a pair, 22-20.
  • A termination from Tatyana Ndekwe cut the lead in half, but IUPUI replied with a kill of their own, 23-21.

  • IUPUI returned from the timeout with back-to-back kills, 18-15, but Brookah Palmer put down a successful attack to bring the tally to 19-15.
  • The Jags put down another kill, but Michelle Glover responded for the Flames, 20-16.
  • IUPUI took three of the next four to pull within two, 21-19, and the Flames were called back to the bench.
  • The Jags returned from the break with another point, but a pair of kills from Paola Santiago and an IUPUI miscue brought UIC to set point, 24-20.
  • The home team was able to get one more kill, but a service error ended the set with a win for the Flames, 25-21.
Set Three
  • Eight kills to start set three gave UIC a 12-6 advantage, causing the Jags to use an early timeout.
  • The Flames maintained their six-point lead, 17-11, as IUPUI once again called for a break.
  • After the timeout, UIC extended its lead off a Jags error and a block from Glover and Palmer, 19-11.
  • IUPUI pulled within five after two kills and ace, 19-14, but another block from Glover and Palmer paired up with an attack error from the Jags, 21-14.
