CHICAGO -- UIC faces its second of four in-state foes this season on Saturday, Nov. 16, as the Flames travel to Peoria to take on Bradley. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3. Brian Bedo and Matt McClain will have the call.

SERIES STUFF
• Saturday's contest is the eighth all-time meeting between UIC and Bradley, and the seventh in UIC's DI era. The Braves lead the overall series, 5-2, and have a 4-2 edge in the DI era.
• The two teams met almost a year ago to the day, as the Flames picked up a 71-70 victory inside Credit Union 1 Arena on Nov. 17, 2018.
• Tarkus Ferguson scored a game-high 22 points, while Godwin Boahen (16) and Marcus Ottey (12) also scored in double figures.
• Ferguson picked up a double-double, finishing with a game-high 10 assists on the day.
• Bradley had won the previous three contests in the series before UIC's victory last season.

EVEN EJIM
• Redshirt freshman Deon Ejim had a well-rounded game for UIC against Ball State on Nov. 13.
• Ejim led the Flames in scoring with a team-high 12 points while adding seven rebounds, two assists and a block in a season-high 27 minutes.
• It was Ejim's first game scoring 10 or more points while the seven rebounds and four made field goals also marked season-highs for the redshirt freshman, who missed the entire 2018-19 season due to injury.

TAYLOR TIME
• Freshman Brian Taylor led the Flames in scoring against No. 14/15 Memphis on Nov. 8.
• After being held scoreless in the first half, Taylor went 4-of-7 in the final 20 minutes to score a team-high 11 points.
• The Detroit native went 3-of-5 from beyond the arc while bringing in three rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists.
• It was the freshman's first game of 10 or more points in his young UIC career.
• The freshman followed up the performance with a 10-point effort against Ball State on Nov. 13 for back-to-back double-digit scoring games.

BOAHEN'S BIG NIGHT
• Senior Godwin Boahen lifted the Flames to a season opening victory over Olivet Nazarene on Nov. 5.
• The senior finished with a team-high 21 points, including the go-ahead bucket in the closing seconds.
• Boahen was fouled while converting a layup with 2.6 seconds remaining. The guard finished off the 3-point play with the ensuing free throw to secure the 75-72 victory.
• After being limited to just two points in the first half on 1-of-6 shooting, Boahen exploded for 19 points behind 6-of-11 shooting in the final 20 minutes.
