UIC got off to a hot start, but could not maintain the lead against #12 Florida State Saturday afternoon. The Seminoles held off the Flames, 86-42, in UIC's third game against a Power 5 school in their last five outings.
Tylah Lampley led all scorers with 20 points.
Jada Nneji had a game-high 11 rebounds. The two were major factors in staking the Flames to a lead, which they held until the last three minutes of the first quarter.
The game wrapped a three-game homestand. UIC will next play at Credit Union 1 Arena December 8.
