Flames Continue Homestand Sunday Against Aggies

UIC welcomes Utah State to town on Sunday, Sept. 15

CHICAGO -- UIC looks to extend it's home winning streak to three and unbeaten streak to four on Sunday, Sept. 15, as the Flames welcome Utah State to town.

The match is the second match in a four-game homestand, with the Flames owning a 2-0-1 record at Flames Field this year. UIC's 3-2-1 record in 2019 is the program's best start in program history.

Kickoff will be at 1 pm.  Admission to Flames Field is free.

Last Time Out
  • The Flames defeated Sam Houston State, 1-0, Thursday evening in Chicago
  • Emma Main broke a 0-0 tie in the 83rd minute with her second goal of the season.
  • UIC's defense limited Sam Houston State to just four shots and one shot on goal, both of which are season lows.

  • Keri Birkenhead, Emma Main, and Megan Bowman have scored goals this season, with Main leading the way with two.
Scouting the Aggies
  • Utah State enters Sunday's match 3-3 overall after falling to Illinois State, 2-1, last time out.
  • Imelda Williams leads the Aggies with two goals on the year while eight different players have scored.
