CHICAGO – The UIC track and field team raced for the final time before the conference meet Saturday, as the Flames split up to compete at the Notre Dame Alex Wilson Invitational and the University of Chicago Margaret Bradley Invitational.

Prior to Saturday's competition, the Flames sent a pair of races to North Central College Friday for the NCC Slick Invitational. It proved to be a successful trip as the Flames swept the men's and women's 5000m event titles.
Tre Rivers won the men's competition in 15:35.25 while Cassie Ogburn won the women's race in 18:57.18.

At the Alex Wilson Invitational, the Flames seven top-20 finishes. The women placed three races in the top 16 of the 400m, as Honesty Sandlin (13
th – 1:00.66), Kate Wojcikiewicz (15
th – 1:02.84) and Lexi Weltin (16
th – 1:04.35) all put forth strong showings.

Dalton Burk claimed 14
th in the men's 200 with a time of 22.88 while
Trevor Tousana took 20
th, finishing in 23.38. In the men's and women's mile,
Mark Lemke placed 16
th (4:28.66) and Teresa Mejia crossed in 5:10.05 to finish 20
th overall.

Over at the Margaret Bradley Invitational, the Flames dominated the women's 200 to the tune of four runners in the top nine. Kaitlynn Rogers was the first to cross (27.20) to place fifth and was followed behind by Renata Wingert (7
th – 27.64), Aiyanna Hilton (8
th – 27.65) and Bailey Moran (9
th – 27.68).

Three women also finished in the top seven of the 400m, with Moran finishing second (1:00.86), Wingert taking fourth (1:01.60) and Rachel McKenzie placing seventh overall (1:02.84).

The men's high jump featured a pair of Flames finishing tied for second in freshman
Keylen Williams and
Grady Clem posting a mark of 1.84m. Ciana Clinton also took second place in the field, finishing runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 11.8m.

Amin Sahid took eighth in the men's mile (4:40.39) and
Chris Joseph claimed sixth in the men's 3000 (9:31.71).
