CHICAGO -- UIC will honor its four seniors on Saturday as the Flames men's basketball team plays host to Oakland on Senior Day to close out the regular season. Tipoff is set for 3:12 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as Senior Day recognition for Jordan Blount, Godwin Boahen, Tarkus Ferguson and Marcus Ottey will take place prior to Saturday's game.

3 POINT PLAY
• UIC won its third consecutive game and four in the last five contests with an 84-67 victory over Detroit Mercy. Tarkus Ferguson recorded his second double-double (13p/10r) of the season while Godwin Boahen scored a team-high 19 points.
• The Flames secured their 10th conference victory Thursday, the third consecutive year UIC has 10 or more conference wins. It marks the first time in program history the Flames have three consecutive 10+ win seasons in league action.
• Tarkus Ferguson is just the fourth Division I player since 1992-93 to have 1,500 points, 700 assists and 600 rebounds in a career.

SERIES STUFF
• UIC is looking to sweep the season series from the Grizzlies after routing Oakland, 80-50, on Jan. 25.
• Tarkus Ferguson scored a game-high 19 points for the Flames, who picked up their first road win by 30 or more points since a 77-44 victory at Detroit on Jan. 18, 2003.
• Oakland enters Saturday's regular season finale 12-18 overall and 7-10 in Horizon League action.
• Xavier Hill-Mais has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week two consecutive weeks and is averaging 16.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

ROAD BLOWOUTS
• UIC has two 30-point road wins this year, both coming in conference play. The Flames defeated Oakland, 80-50, on Jan. 23 and Northern Kentucky, 73-43, on Feb. 16.
• UIC is one of four DI programs with two 30-point road wins this year and just one of two schools (Gonzaga) with two 30-point road wins in conference play.
• Gonzaga leads the country with three 30-point road wins this year, while UIC, Furman and Louisiana Tech all have two road wins by such a margin.

FLAMES LOCK DOWN NORSE
• UIC's defense smothered Northern Kentucky en route to a 73-43 road win on Feb. 16.
• The 43 points allowed by UIC were the third-fewest in the Flames' 39-year history of DI competition, while the 43 points are tied for the seventh-fewest scored by a Division I home team in any game this season.
• The Flames limited Northern Kentucky to just 22.0% shooting, the third-worst shooting performance by a DI home team this year and the lowest allowed by UIC in any game since at least the 2010-11 season.

70 IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
• When UIC has scored 70 or more points in a game, it has usually resulted in a positive outcome.
• The Flames are 13-2 on the year when scoring 70 or more points, including a 9-2 mark when scoring between 70-79 points.
• UIC has won its last eight games, and 10 of its last 11, when reaching the 70-point mark, including a 84-67 win over Detroit Mercy Thursday.
• The Flames scored a season-high 90 points in its 90-83 overtime victory at Youngstown State on Jan. 30.
