CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team heads to Port Charlotte, Florida for the Snowbird Classic. The Flames will face three teams and play four games during the three-day event.

Action gets underway on Friday (March 6), with a pair of games. The Flames will open with an 11 a.m. (CT) contest against St. Bonaventure before closing out the day by facing Georgetown at 3 p.m. (CT).

UIC returns to the fields Saturday (March 7) morning to face Army at 10:30 a.m. (CT) and will round out competition with a Sunday (March 8) morning rematch against Georgetown. First pitch for the Flames' finale is scheduled for 10 a.m. (CT).

Entering play this weekend, UIC is one of the top defending teams in the country, ranking first in the Horizon League and 41
st nationally in fielding percentage at .979.
