CHICAGO — The UIC baseball program has a busy October ahead, as head coach Sean McDermott announced the Flames' 2026 fall schedule Thursday afternoon. The Flames will play a four-game slate, including three home contests on Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium.
"We are just happy that the NCAA is giving us the opportunity to play four games in the fall," McDermott said. "Getting to play a Big Ten rival in Illinois, an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent in Notre Dame, a Big East opponent in Butler, and a program rich in tradition like Lewis gives us a great opportunity to develop our younger players and let them understand at what competing at the highest level is all about."
