CHICAGO – The UIC women's basketball team (3-11, 1-9 HL) will make its way to Green Bay, Wisconsin this weekend for its final road series of the regular season. The Flames and Phoenix (11-6, 10-4 HL) will square off for games on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13, with both contests set to tipoff at 11 a.m. CT inside Green Bay's Kress Center.

WITH A WIN, UIC WOULD:
  • Improve to 4-11 on the season
  • Win their second Horizon League game of the season
  • Win their first game against Green Bay since 2010
  • Win their third home game of the season
LAST TIME OUT

  • On Friday, The Flames were held to a season-low 52 points as the squad shot just 34% from the floor and made only two of 14 attempts from long range.
  • On the other end, IUPUI converted at a clip of 49% from the field and over 47% (8-of-17) from 3-point range.
  • The Flames pushed late, scoring the game's final 10 points over 3:46, but the deficit was too large to overcome.
  • On Saturday, the freshmen led the way, as three freshmen finished in double figures for UIC.

  • Kristian Young was also in double figures with 10 points, adding a team-best five assists.
ROGER THAT
  • Freshman Lindsey Rogers is one of four freshmen to start for UIC this season. She has made eight starts and 10 appearances so far in her first-year campaign.
  • Rogers is averaging 8.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in her first year with the Flames.
  • The freshman is one of UIC's most efficient three-point shooters, sinking 33.3 percent (10-for-30) of her shots beyond the arc this season.
  • Rogers turned in her first career double-double on Jan. 30 against Rockford, recording 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
  • The Naperville, Ill. native brought in a pair of 14-point showings this past weekend against IUPUI. In Saturday's contest, Rogers sank a personal-best four threes and finished the day shooting 5-for-7 overall.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
  • Green Bay is 10-4 in Horizon League play this season after completing a series sweep over Northern Kentucky this past weekend. The Phoenix topped the Norse on Friday 63-56 before closing out the series with a 62-58 win on Saturday.
  • Green Bay ranks third in the League in shooting, sinking 42.8 percent of their shots overall. From the three-point line, the Phoenix are shooting 31.3 percent, which also stands at third in the conference.
  • Caitlyn Hibner leads Green Bay in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 14.8 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. Around the League, Hibner ranks seventh in scoring and eighth in rebounding.
