INDIANAPOLIS – The UIC women's tennis team (12-4, 4-0 HL) completed its second-straight Horizon League series sweep on Sunday, taking down conference foe IUPUI (2-8, 0-4 HL) by a 6-1 tally. Four Flames picked up straight-set wins in the victory, which was the eighth-straight for UIC.

Doubles Highlights
Ana Jover and Marina Hermanny de Figueiredo bested IUPUI's Marta Krakowski and Ines Rivera in the No. 3 match, 6-2. Agnes Gustafsson joined forces with Tamara Malazonia at No. 1, defeating IUPUI's Gabrielle Ochalik and Sarh Lounsbury, 6-3, to give UIC the doubles point. The No. 2 match featuring UIC's Lucie Prochazkova and Nell Arendt as well as IUPUI's Meghan Bernard and Samantha Hayward went unfinished.

Singles Highlights
Arendt dominated at No. 5 in what was her seventh-straight singles win, bringing down Krakowski in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1. Georgia Gulin followed with a straight-set win of her own at No. 4, taking down Hayward, 6-2, 6-1. Gustafsson clinched the win at No. 2 for the Flames, defeating Lounsbury, 6-3, 6-1. Jover took home her ninth-straight singles win in the No. 3 match, as she got the best of the Jags' Bernard, 6-3, 6-2. IUPUI's lone win of the day came in the No. 1 match, as Ochalik defeated Malazonia in a tough battle, 7-5, 4-6, 11-9. Hermanny de Figueiredo held on for the win at No. 6, taking down IUPUI's Rivera, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 10-6, to finish out the win for UIC.
