CHICAGO -- UIC's non-conference contest scheduled for Tuesday, March 29 against Northern Illinois has been postponed. The Flames and Huskies will now play in Chicago on Wednesday, April 27 at 3 p.m.
NIU and UIC have not faced off since three meetings during the 2018 campaign. When the Huskies visit Flames field in April, it will mark the first visit since April 26, 2016. UIC leads the all-time series against NIU, 28-19, and the Flames are 10-4 at home against the Huskies.
UIC will head back on the road this weekend to face Northern Kentucky in a three-game series on Friday and Saturday. The team's next schedule home game is set for Wednesday, April 6 against DePaul.
