UIC closed out the season with a win over Oakland on Senior Day. Though the Golden Grizzlies rallied late in the match, winning three 10-point tiebreakers, the Flames did enough early in doubles and singles play to clinch the win at 4-0.
Ana Jover reached the 20-win mark in singles play, and earned her 17
th doubles win – 16 of which came alongside
Agnes Gustafsson.

Dominika Hrabalova were honored before the match, which was their final home appearance as Flames.
The Flames clinched the #3 seed in the Horizon League tournament, which will begin Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Doubles Results
- Gustafsson and Jover cruised to a 6-3 win at #1, where they finished 11-2 in regular season dual match action.
- Dominika Hrabalova and Lea Forste-Dinell dropped a 6-3 final at #2.
- Nell Arendt and Tamara Malazonia were pushed to a tiebreaker, which they won convincingly, as they clinched the doubles point, 7-6 (1) at #3.
Singles Results
- Malazonia got back in the win column after two straight losses, taking a 6-1, 6-1 decision on court 2.
- Jover improved to 15-0 on the #3 court with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
- Forste-Dinell won her ninth straight match, 7-6 (3), 6-0 at #5.
- Oakland got on the board with a 6-4, 4-6, 10-4 win over Gustafsson at #1.
- Hrabalova had her four-match winning streak snapped, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 10-5 at #4.
- Arendt dropped a 6-7 (2), 6-4, 10-7 match at #6.
