CHICAGO – The UIC men's tennis team returned to action Tuesday afternoon, as it traveled to Chicago State to take on the Cougars. After earning a straight sweep in doubles play, the Flames would continue their dominance in singles play, earning their third straight match victory.

Jai Vallurupalli earned his second straight singles victory to kick things off for UIC, earning a straight set win over Chicago State's Max Sandoval 6-0, 6-4.
Gustavo Schwebel continued his winning streak in singles play Tuesday, now a winner in his last three matches with the addition of a 7-5, 6-1 triumph.
Luiz Dos Santos filled in at the number six slot against Chicago State, and helped secure the overall victory in dominating fashion with a 6-0, 6-2 win.

The Flames will be back in action on the road this weekend, as they head south to take on Northern Kentucky Saturday, before stopping in Dayton to take on the Flyers Sunday afternoon.
