MILWAUKEE, WISC. – UIC's women's tennis earned their first road win against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Sunday. The Flames' fought back to earn the victory after losing the doubles point.
 
DOUBLES

• Ana Jover and Agnes Gustafsson cruised to a 6-1 victory while the Panthers took the two and three doubles, to earn the point.
• UIC trailed 0-1 going into singles.

SINGLES

• The Flames lost the first sets at one, three and six but came back to win.
• Natalia Nikolopoulou at three, faced two match points in the second set.
• Lea Forste-Dinell clinched 0-6, 6-3, 6-1.
• Agnes Gustafsson won her singles contest 4-6,7-5, 6-4.
• Tamara Malazonia dominated in her matchup 6-3,6-0.
• Ana Jover outscored her opponent 6-2, 7-5, 6-4.
• Cora-Lynn von Dungern also earned a victory 6-3 both sets.

 
The Flames head to Ypsilanti, Mich. to take on Eastern Michigan on Friday, March 10. First serve is set for 5:30 p.m. at The Chippewa Club.
