CINCINNATI, OHIO – The UIC men's tennis team (9-13, 3-2 Southland) wrapped up regular season play on Saturday with a shut-out performance over Xavier. The Flames swept the Musketeers 4-0, giving the team positive momentum to take into the Southland Conference Championship next week.

- Aleksa Bucan earned a two-set victory on the second court 6-3, 6-1. That's now eight wins in a row for the senior, improving his overall record to 13-8.
- Gustavo Schwebel pulled out a win for the Flames at No. 4, beating his opponent 6-4, 6-2. His overall record sits at 16-11.
- A crucial 6-0, 6-3 win from Kevin Kruzel at No. 6 singles gave the Flames a sweep, keeping the Musketeers scoreless.

The Flames will now prepare for their conference championship in Corpus Christi, Texas. The competition starts Thursday, April 20 and concludes Sunday, April 23. Times and opponents are still yet to be determined and updates will come as more details are released.
